RMS is delighted to announce the release of RMS Cyber Solutions v4 and an industry first Cyber IED and EED for the US. This release represents a major milestone for the RMS cyber offering, adding substantial new capabilities and enhancements to existing features, across both the models and software application.
V4.0 brings many benefits including:
- A complete redevelopment of all IT loss models incorporating;
- New approaches to quantifying probability including agent based and causal loss modelling
- New and expanded data sources and insights from extensive expert elicitation
- Updates to the cost model – including a new BI loss methodology and D&O modelling
- Exposure data enrichment leveraging a database of over 11M companies across 30 geographies
- New probabilistic simulation approaches for modelling Cyber-Physical attacks (e.g. attacks on critical national infrastructure)
- Re-architected the system to extract substantial performance improvements for model run times
- The ability for clients to build custom models and develop their own view of risk
- A number of bug fixes and software UI improvements incl. adding new exposure and loss reports for property data
